2. Scope of Online Information & Service Estimates

  • Informational Purpose: All content, service descriptions, articles, and FAQs on this website are provided for general informational purposes only.

  • Remote Estimates (Free): Any preliminary quotes or estimates provided through our online contact forms, email, phone, or messaging services are provided free of charge based solely on customer-provided descriptions, approximate measurements, and photos.

  • Final Pricing: Final service pricing for restoration work is confirmed upon physical on-site assessment of the glass panel(s) by our technician. All accepted restoration jobs are subject to our standard Service Terms & Conditions provided with your formal quote.

3. Service Area, Site Visits & Assessment Fees

  • Greater Melbourne: Mobile services are provided across Greater Melbourne.

  • Regional Victoria & Interstate: For jobs located outside Greater Melbourne, an additional upfront travel fee applies to cover transport, fuel, and transit time.

  • Multi-Day & Extended Travel Jobs: Where a project requires overnight travel or multi-day on-site work outside our standard service radius, necessary accommodation and subsistence costs will be included in the formal quote and agreed upon prior to booking.

  • On-Site Assessment Fee ($99): Customers who request an in-person, on-site measurement, scratch depth evaluation, and site inspection prior to booking restoration services incur a standard $99.00 (inc. GST) assessment fee within Greater Melbourne. This fee covers technician travel, vehicle overhead, precise measurement, and on-site diagnostic time.

  • Separate Billing: On-site assessment fees are billed separately from glass restoration services and are non-refundable. Assessment fees are not deducted from, credited toward, or incorporated into subsequent restoration service quotes or final invoices.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website — including text, website design, graphics, logos, custom project photography, before-and-after gallery imagery, and video content — is the intellectual property of The Glass Repair Company and protected by Australian copyright and trademark laws.
